I've been absent.

I've been long gone, finals have eaten every inch of my time. I promise soon I'll post what I've been working on.

On a sidenote, I'm working on a website, a real and shiny website. So thats kindof exciting too.

New Dog House.

This is going to be by far the most gushy post I've had.

Brian is the best. He builds adorable little things for an adorable little puppy. This made me smile. And she loves it, hard to get her out of it actually. I think my heart just melted..

2008 MCAD Art Sale...and some Paper Cranes.

Here's one of the paintings I put in. It was fun to work the sale, met some really interesting people.

Today.

Today is a good day. It is such a relief to know that my family, along with millions of families across America, will no longer be ignored. Finally. FINALLY! Today a huge load has been lifted off my shoulders. Today is a very good day.

Neat Stuff.

A really good find when I went back home about a month ago. An old calligraphy book of my aunt's. Some of these are really intriguing.

Today.

Today I woke up wishing for the ocean and sanddollars and heat and sand.

//Studio Dog.

OK SO. I was hoping I would never become one of those people that post pictures of their pets all over the place. I think I've become that person..

A little too Bouffant?

Extra fluffy after a good bath.

New Toys!

Spreadin' that puppy love all over MCAD.

Brian's Doorframe.

Saturday night we attended the grand opening of a high-end men's accessory store downtown, patrickmartin3, where Brian made a customized doorframe for the store out of some great finds that were part of a few months of never-ending searching (the hubcap on the top is from back home in MI). I'm a pretty proud girlfriend, I'll admit.

Such a great night, getting all dressed up and sipping wine, and meeting some lovely and intellectual people. Made me feel very grown-up.

Thanks to the lovely Jacey, for letting me borrow some pics, as my computer isn't letting me upload. Blah.

THOUGHT BUBBLES//

A drawing I just finished that was inspired by a doodle I did during my Print Paper Book class critique (oops.) It represents "thought bubbles" and how humans communicate. I added the color with acrylic, but I think I'll sell this one at the art show and do another of just black and white.

P.S. Thanks to Brian (ahem *best boyfriend ever*) for the beautiful new camera, so no more crappy photobooth pics. YES.

New Sketchbook.

I can't even remember the last time I bought a sketchbook. I like it like that. I recently promised myself I'd never buy one again. Just make make make.

Golden Trees.

I've spent way too much time in the printshop finishing these things. That's all.
